Raila Odinga, Kalonzo Musyoka and Musalia Mudavadi met, Thursday for unity talks, where they accused the Jubilee administration of allowing ex-IEBC Commissioners to run operations at the polls body with intentions to rig 2017 general polls.

Wiper Party leader Musyoka cited the fresh Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission tender row, where the Commission allegedly irregularly issued a Sh2.5 billion tender to a Dubai Bank, to print ballot papers for the 2017 general elections.

Despite IEBC Chief Executive Ezra Chiloba telling the Public Procurement Administrative Review Board which is hearing the case, that the tender was legitimately awarded, Musyoka said such a tender can only be awarded by Commissioners and not the IEBC secretariat.

Cord leader Odinga said new Commissioners should be in office by December 23, and further asked the IEBC nine-member selection panel to fast track the interviewing process of the interested candidates, to ensure a free fair election in August 2017.

Mudavadi also echoed sentiments by the his two colleagues and further urged the three Cord leaders not to rush into nominating the Coalition's 2017 flag-bearer.

During the meeting, Mudavadi asked them to work on forming the National Super Alliance (NASA) so as to easily send incumbent Jubilee government home.

They agreed on the Alliance and further assured that talks about the same are still in progress. The Alliance is likely to be launched in February 2017.

Cord co-principal and Ford Kenya party leader Moses Wetangula did not attend the meeting, for be was in Australia.
