ODM leader Raila Odinga has defended his decision to meet President Uhuru Kenyatta alone despite being in a coalition with his co-principals yet again.
Without Kalonzo Musyoka, Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula's presence, Raila reached a deal with Uhuru, much to surprise of many Kenyans.
And at Migori on Saturday, Raila also said change of tact is necessary in politics and that those who remain rigid are 'stupid'.
"I am a skilled politician who loves the country. We could not continue pulling Kenya apartand that is why we looked for each other.
"People who are asking me why I engaged Uhuru alone should instead seek from me the goodies that our talk brought. I went alone because they were asleep," he said.
So divisive was his agreement with Uhuru that his co-principals ganged against him leading to eminent break up.
Already, Raila is said to be secretly pushing for constitutional changes that would see introduction of the Prime Minister post.
