Cord leader Raila Odinga has retaliated Nominated MP Isaac Mwaura’s claims that his name had been forcefully removed from the register of the party.
Speaking at Orange House in a meeting of persons with disabilities on Tuesday, Raila told Mwaura that the nominated slot he currently holds belongs to the party and he needs to give it up.
"Unfortunately Mwaura has found it hard to leave ODM. Jubilee has its own slots... Mwaura is not in ODM," he said.
"...We are justified to demand that the seats be given back to ODM," Raila added.
He accused Mwaura of being among political prostitutes who were given chance to correct their mistakes but did nothing.
"The ball is no longer in our court but the government's," he said. "ODM appointed a committee to listen to all those prostitutes... the committee then recommended... They are no longer members and are not entitled to represent ODM in Parliament," said a decisive Raila.
