[Photo|Raila Odinga]Kenyans are eagerly awaiting an announcement by Opposition leader Raila Odinga.The NASA leader and veteran politician, promised he would make a major announcement, on Wednesday October 25, just a day to the controversial fresh presidential election.The election has been disputed by Raila and his entire coalition, especially after he withdrew alongside his running mate Kalonzo Musyoka, citing lack of goodwill from the ruling Jubilee Party, and the electoral body, IEBC.Speaking in Kisumu, during an anti-election campaign, Odinga said: "I want you to listen carefully. I will issue an announcement on Wednesday next week, over my next move. I will tell you," amid cheers and celebrations from the crowd.Flanked by co-principal Musalia Mudavadi, Moses Wetangula, Siaya Senator James Orengo, Siaya Governor Cornel Rasanga, Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho, Kisumu's Peter Nyong'o, and Homa Bay’s Cyprian Awiti, Raila asked supporters to await the day.Also present, Friday, were former Machakos senator Johnston Muthama and MPs Mishi Moko (Likoni), Babu Owino (Embakasi East), John Mbadi (Suba South), Opiyo Wandayi (Ugunja), Millie Odhiambo (Suba North), and other local and Nyanza region leaders.Despite Raila's call for no election, his opponent Uhuru Kenyatta, has warned that the government would deal with anyone, who will disrupt or interfere with the electoral process.During the Mashujaa Day ceremony, he warned that nobody will interfere with someone else's democratic right to vote, and go scotsfree.
