President Uhuru Kenyatta has laughed off Nasa presidential candidate Raila Odinga's ambitions to dislodge him from the presidency saying he is a spent force who wasted a glorious opportunity to do so in the last elections.
Speaking during a campaign rally in Kisii county Monday ,the president said he beat Mr Odinga when he was facing charges at the ICC and would easily repeat the same feat now that he was president.
"If we beat him when were facing charges at the Hague who tells you that he stands a chance against us now that we are in government," Uhuru said.
He added that Mr Odinga was raising unnecessary tension in the country over claims that the government is planning to rig elections so as to pave way for a 'nusu mkate' government.
He appealed to the Kisii nation to reelect him so that he can complete his development projects.
