[Photo: The ODM Party]As the August 8 polls day approaches, the two top political contenders, Jubilee Party and the National Super Alliance (Nasa) have continued to campaign across the country, rallying support for their candidates.Today, Tuesday, Nasa, led by presidential candidate Raila Odinga, is making a daring move.The Opposition alliance is touring Kiambu county, a mother home to Jubilee Party leader, and his top competitor, President Uhuru Kenyatta.Kiambu voted overwhelmingly for Uhuru in the 2013 general elections, and is an area which is perceived to be undoubtedly, a Jubilee support zone.Raila received over 10 politicians from the county, Monday, who defected from Jubilee to Nasa, in support for his presidential bid.As he received them to the alliance, Raila said he would visit Kiambu, whose governor William Kabogo is seeking re-election as an Independent Candidate after losing Jubilee Party ticket to Kabete MP Ferdinand Waititu in April.During his meet-the-people tour of the Central Kenya county, Raila will make stopovers in several areas, before addressing supporters in Kiambu town.
