National Super Alliance( NASA) Presidential Candidate, Raila Amolo Odinga has now said that he is ready for dialogue. This comes after he asked supporters of the opposition to take the streets in protest against the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC).

According to Daily Nation, the opposition leader, who is taking a fourth stab at the nation’s top seat, has however said that he will only take part in the talks if President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy  William Ruto’s allies drop the plans to change election laws.

Raila pointed an accusing finger at the Jubilee leadership of attempting to change the rules of the game after the nullification of the presidential election by the Supreme Court.

The remarks of  Raila come after Jubilee members of parliament pass bill to allow for the creation of a special committee to scrutinise a proposed change to the law on elections.

“There is no need to change the goal post when the Supreme Court has already implicated the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission. What is being brought back is a manual system of voting of the pre-1997 era,” Odinga said at All Saints Cathedral, as quoted by the Local Daily.
