National Super Alliance (Nasa) leader Raila Odinga today paid retired president Daniel Arap Moi a visit at his Kabarak home.
Odinga was accompanied by Mvita MP Abdulswamwad Shariff Nassir and Vihiga Senator George Khaniri.
In a statement sent to newsrooms, Odinga's spokesperson Dennis Onyango said the former prime minister visited Moi to wish him well.
"The two leaders in the process discussed the state of the Kenyan nation during the visit that lasted more than one hour. The former president was strong and in high spirits," reads the statement.
The meeting comes a month after Odinga signed a unity deal with President Uhuru Kenyatta, promising to unite Kenyans after a tough period of elections.

Moi returned to the country late last month from Israel, where he had gone for medical check-ups.
On January 27, 2017, the former president underwent a minor surgery on his knee at the Aga Khan University Hospital in Nairobi.
The problem with his knee began on July 30, 2006, after he was involved in an accident in Limuru.
Moi was traveling to Kabarak from Machakos, where he had presided over a graduation ceremony at Scotts Theological College.
