The two met at  the home of the late Kenneth Matiba who died on Sunday at the Karen Hospital in Nairobi.

Sources indicate that Raila arrived at Matiba's Limuru home with DP Ruto to condole with the family of the second liberation hero.

The two leaders whio have been on different political divide united in mourning Matiba.

Photos circulating online show Raila in the company of his wife Mama Ida Odinga.

Also present in the event is Cabinet Secretary (CS) Mwangi Kiunjuri (Devolution and Planning), CS Margaret Kobia (Public Service, Youth and Gender Affairs), and CSEugene Wamalwa (Devolution).

Matiba is expected to be given a state burial as announced by the government on Monday.
