Opposition Leader Raila Odinga on Friday met Kitui Governor Charity Ngilu when she paid him a courtesy call at his office.
It is still unclear what the two discussed, but the former Premier noted that he was glad to meet Governor Ngilu.
He praised Nglu for being one of the female elected governors in the country.
"Glad to receive a courtesy call from @mamangilu who's rise to Governor has inspired a whole generation of young women, that they can achieve anything they put their minds to and that the glass ceilings of the past are being shattered one after the other," Raila posted on his Twitter handle.
The former Prime Minister has been meeting leaders from across the political divide after he signed a unity pact with President Uhuru Kenyatta.
So far, Odinga has met former Presidents; Mwai Kibaki and Daniel Moi at their respective residents.
The former Prime Minister has also met former Kiambu Governor William Kabogo, Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria among others.
The meeting between Odinga and Ngilu comes just a few days after the two met at the devolution conference where the Opposition Leader addressed the gathering.
