Nasa presidential candidate Raila Odinga has reportedly held talks with his running mate, Kalonzo Musyoka, over the latter’s feud with Machakos Senator Johnson Muthama.
Kalonzo and Muthama have engaged in public spats recently, events political analysts say could causes a storm within the Nasa coalition.
Muthama ditched Kalonzo’s Wiper party, accusing the former vice president of forcing his preferred candidates on the people during the nominations.
An infuriated Kalonzo on Sunday said Raila will have to choose whether to work with Muthama or him.
“There will come a time when I will ask Raila to choose whether to work with Muthama or Kalonzo,” said Kalonzo after attending a church service in Mlolongo on Sunday.
However, reliable sources have revealed that lengthy discussions took place between Kalonzo and Raila over the matter.
Raila and Kalonzo reportedly agreed to meet Muthama for lunch to sort out the dispute between the Ukambani leaders.
