Opposition leaders Raila Odinga and Musalia Mudavadi say President Uhuru Kenyatta's Jubilee administration plots to rig the 2017 general polls.
This is after the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) picked KPMG as an audit firm, to audit the voter register ahead of the polls.
Cord's Raila and Amani National Congress (ANC's) Mudavadi opposed appointment of KPMG, saying the tendering process was done 'under the table'.
"Nobody knows how KPMG was selected. This is a plan by Jubilee to engage a user-friendly company to conduct the audit so as to rig,'' said Mudavadi.
They said Jubilee had caused delays in the publication of the elections Bill and assenting it to the law.
IEBC Chief Executive Ezra Chiloba said the firm would start the exercise on December 15, 2016 and complete after 30 days.
The two addressed the press at Capitol Hill offices, Friday.
