Opposition coalition NASA leader Raila Odinga has reiterated that he is not interested in sharing power with President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Speaking to BBC on Tuesday ahead of President Kenyatta's swearing-in ceremony, the former Prime Minister, however, said he was open to dialogue but only on electoral reforms.
“We are not interested to talk about joining government. Any dialogue must be about bringing electoral justice in Kenya,” he said.
He further took a swipe on Uhuru's inauguration ceremony held at Kasarani Stadium, insisting that the Head of State lacks the legitimacy to lead the country.
“It’s a coronation rather than inauguration. We don’t believe he was legitimately elected as leader of Kenya,” he said.
Uhuru took oath of office for his second term alongside his Deputy President William Ruto in a ceremony attended by various dignitaries.
The Opposition chief has since vowed to swear in himself on December 12.
