According to Odinga, the current differences with other co-principals over the presidential flagbearer is nothing but a 'friendly fire'.

Odinga who was speaking at Orange House in Nairobi on Wednesday said that the issue of who will lead the coalition in 2017 will be resolved very soon.

Over the weekend, Ford Kenya leader Moses Wetangula challenged Odinga to shelve his presidential ambition and support another candidate.

“Raila is our elder and we respect him but we want him to be the kingmaker. When we win the elections, he will have a special place in the CORD government,” said Wetangula.

On his part, Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka said that he was tired of supporting other candidates over the years.
