Over the recent past, Alai has been pulling punches towards the opposition leader and his party ODM citing many shortcomings in the party that just celebrate its ten years milestone in Kenyan political circles last week in Mombasa.

In one of his post on Facebook on Tuesday, Alai speaks with all authority insisting that Raila should not be on the ballot come 2017.

"I REPEAT: Raila Odinga shouldn't run in 2017. Jubilee has learnt how to beat him or steal his election and manage his tantrums. We (as ODM) must look for leadership elsewhere," reads the post in part.

Alai further hits at ODM supporters who are against his advice, telling them that he is not a doctor to treat their emotional baggage.

"If that still hurts, shauri yako. My job is to tell you my honest opinion. Your emotions is not something that I can treat," said Alai.

Cord leader Raila Odinga was declared the ODM flagbearer in the run up to deciding who will carry the coalition's presidential button in Mombasa last week as the orange party marked her tenth year in Kenyan politics.
