National Majority Leader Aden Duale has accused National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Amolo Odinga of hatching plots to frustrate leaders from the North Eastern region as he seeks to ascend to power in the fresh election.

Addressing the press at Parliament Buildings yesterday, Duale said Raila was to blame for the departure of Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) former Chairman Issack Hassan and now he wants IEBC commissioners Abdi Guliye and Boya Molu to be dismissed from office, which he said won’t work.

“The same Raila defended Auditor General Edward Ouko from being removed from office. He profiled Issack Hassan and is now targeting Guliye and Molu. He is defending people from his ethnic community and he thinks we cannot defend our own?” Duale said, as quoted by Star.

Duale, also Garissa Township MP said that he will pitch tents in different parts of the North Eastern region to ensure that Raila does not ascend to power after the planned fresh election.

“We will tell our people that their enemy is one Raila Odinga. Let Raila and his principals know that they cannot have two ways. We denied you votes and we will deny you votes again, ”he said.
