This, he said will ensure justice, fair play and restore confidence in all players during and after the elections.

Speaking in Kisii during a surprise visit on Monday, Odinga further noted that a new register will eliminate the ghost voters who fix outcomes.

“The voter register has to be reconstituted in the interest of fair play, natural justice and to eliminate doubts from all stakeholders,” the former premier said.

He also accused Jubilee of luring some leaders especially from strongholds in order to paint a picture of a weakening ODM.

"We know their game plan is to create an artificial perception that people are quitting CORD for Jubilee. But the reality is that every time someone visits State House, the more they want to stay in Cord," Raila said.

He held an early morning meeting with leaders from the Gusii region, before later attending a burial in Kuria, two areas that have been showing signs of working with the Jubilee coalition in recent days.
