[Photo: standard.co.ke]The National Resistance Movement(NRM) will spearhead efforts to implement a new raft of measures aimed at piling Pressure on the Jubilee administration after the outcome of what he termed as a sham election.Speaking at a much awaited Press conference at Okoa Kenya Headquarters , Raila Odinga directed the NRM wing of NASA to commence forthwith with programs related with economic boycott, picketing and peaceful protest.Raila Odinga also announced the formation of what he called 'The People's Assembly' as a means of allowing the citizens to exercise power directly. The assembly , he noted, will be made up of workers, civil society, the youth amongst other groups.Raila outrightly rejected the repeat poll of November 26th and called it a "meaningless exercise" and " a sham election with pre-determined outcome".He castigated IEBC for manipulating figures noting that in his assessment only 3.5 million were cast.He alluded to the use of the same formula used to generate the August 8 results to create a "fallacy of statistics".Raila Odinga cited also an incident where a Jubilee MP , Alice Wahome, allegedly molested an IEBC official with view of manipulating figures."This election must not stand. It will be a mockery of the electoral process," Raila said.The NASA leader condemned alleged intimidation of Judges citing a case where the driver to the Deputy Chief Justice Ms. Philomena Mwilu was shot on the eve of a major rulling.The NASA leader affirmed that NASA is committed to National dialogue with view of reforming the electoral process and creating inclusivity.
