NASA leader Raila Odinga has outlined details of the changes that have been initiated within the National Super Alliance (NASA) coalition. Mr Odinga has clarified that the NASA coalition now has three branches: 1. The parliamentary wing This will be made up of the Members of National Assembly and Woman Representative from NASA-affiliate parties. 2.The Senate wing This will be made up of the Senators elected from the coalition. 3. The National Resistance Movement (NRM). According to the NASA leader, NRM will be concerned mainly with coordinating the Opposition's acts of civil disobedience. "We have our alliance, NASA, and it has three branches...we are creating another wing which is the resistance movement," stated Raila Odinga. "This is basically going to be involved in civil disobedience. It is a civil resistance, not an armed resistance so we are going to use all the legal and constitutional means to put pressure on this government to do what we want them to do," Mr. Odinga explained during an interview with CNN. The opposition leader stated further that Kenyans are tired of the Jubilee regime and that NASA is the one championing for the change. "The ordinary Kenyans are actually very tired of this regime. A regime that is discriminating against them based on their ethnicity, practising corruption, driving the cost of living high and plagued with unemployment...these are the reasons why Kenyans are tired and want change. Mr Odinga also hinted that the only item his team is ready to dialogue on is how a proper election can be held within the next 90 days.
