Citing President Uhuru Kenyatta's anger, after the Supreme Court issued a full judgement as to why his August 8 election was nullified, Lone indicated regimes can do anything to retain power.Uhuru, on Thursday, expressed anger, saying the Supreme Court's decision was a coup to the country's democracy."Regimes can and do truly awful things to retain power, calculating that they have the might to control or subdue any revolt to their plans for dictatorship, and that after a few hundred or a few thousand deaths, they will have retained political and economic power," said Lone.On the sidelines of Uhuru's acceptance for another election, despite the anger, Lone noted Uhuru was ready for another election but his close allies were the ones resisting."I have heard from credible sources that the President himself was ready to accept another election but was met with determined resistance from close associates," revealed Lone."Such people are always the proble, since they stand to lose much more than the president, who has left a mark on history," he added, Thursday.
