NASA leader Raila Odinga has said the national government has issued a new directive regarding him and his runing mate Kalonzo Musyoka on making visits outside the country.

Odinga said authorities at the airports have been instructed to ensure the two leaders have clearance from the State House before flying outside the country at any given point.

"The (airport) authorities have disclosed that hence forth Kalonzo and I will need clearnce from the State House before leaving the country," said Odinga.

The statement from Odinga comes in hours after Moses Wetangula and Kalonzo Musyoka were stalled at the JKIA as they sought to fly out of the country.
