Raila Odinga's Orange Democratic Movement party remains defiant that it will not allow NASA partners to blackmail over the deal between Raila Odinga and Uhuru Kenyatta.
Early this week, Kalonzo Musyoka (Wiper), Musalia Mudavadi (ANC) and Moses Wetangula of Ford Kenya vowed to seek audience with Uhuru before endorsing the secret deal.
"We want to meet Uhuru before giving our position on the matter," Kalonzo said on Wednesday adding that he was however not forcing the move.
A fallout is now looming between the NASA affiliates with Kalonzo's allies thretening to eject Raila from NASA.
In parliament on Wednesday, Minority Leader John Mbadi, a close ally of Raila, scoffed at Kalonzo and Musalia, insisting that ODM won't allow blackmail from them.
"We are tired of blackmail and as ODM, we will not allow it. They (Kalonzo, Musalia) wanted dialogue and have certainly changed their mind," he said.
He added: "We cannot allow him (Kalonzo) to push us around. If they (wiper) don't want to join us in uniting the nation, let them give us a break."
A resurgent Kalonzo, through Makueni Governor Kivutha Kibwana, said he regrets supporting Raila for a decade now.
Apparently, Wiper MP Patrick Makau of Mavoko, on Tuesday temporarily took over the Minority Leader's position in parliament, precipitating to intervention by the speaker.
