Elgeyo Marakwet senator Kipchumba Murkomen claims that National Super Alliance (Nasa) presidential candidate Raila Odinga is planning to drop out of the presidency contest ahead of the upcoming October 26 fresh presidential poll.Murkomen, however, noted that the current legal uncertainties are complicating Raila's decision."Raila Odinga is planning to drop out of the race officially any time from now but the legal uncertainties are complicating his decision," Murkomen tweeted, Sunday. The Jubilee senator further purported that the former prime minister's move to drop out of the state house race is so as to cause a political crisis in the country."Raila hoped that by dropping out of the race he will cause a crisis but a few cases in court are complicating matters for him," noted the senator."Once the Election Laws (Amendment) Act is finally passed it will seal all the loopholes that NASA would have use to cause political crisis," added the Senate Majority leader.
The Opposition leader has in several occasions maintained there will be no elections on October 26 if IEBC does not meet the Nasa's 'irreducible demands.'
