Opposition chief Raila Odinga has claimed that the government cannot deliver well to Kenyans when he is not in leadership.

While addressing Meru residents, the ODM party leader said the country has been messed up since Jubilee government took office.

He said on Wednesday that during his five years in office as Prime Minister, he was able to put the Mwai Kibaki leadership on toes for the well being of the country.

"When I was their boss in the Grand Coalition government, work was being done... I used to task them," he stated.

Raila further warned the locals against what he termed to be Jubilee lies that he was not a suitable option for them.

While on a vote listing mobilization campaign in Kerugoya, President Kenyatta on Wednesday told Raila to stop threatening Kenyans over their preferred candidates of choice.

He further said that the ongoing seven week long strike in the health sector signaled the country was sick.

"We in the Opposition have the cure. Let us register as voters in large numbers" Raila said as he urged the residents to send Jubilee home in the August poll .

Verbal exchange between the opposition leaders and their counterparts in Jubilee continue to escalate as the rival sides traverse the country for vote hunting.
