NASA presidential candidate for the August general elections Raila Odinga has expressed his belief and confidence that the exercise will be peaceful and orderly.

Speaking during the presidential debate at the Catholic University of Eastern Africa Monday, the leader urged Kenyans to drop any fears of the exercise being marred with cases of violence saying that they should stay put in preparation for the big day.

''There will be no violence after the polls because all the involved bodies have promised to give their all towards the realization of a secured and orderly process. Both our supporters and those of our competitors should therefore  discard any fears and go out in large numbers to participate in the exercise when the day comes,'' said the former Premier who further hoped that the election will be free and fair promising his supporters a win.

''IEBC has severally pledged its readiness to conduct a free, fair, credible and transparent election and if this is to be believed then we are sure of an outright victory on the first round,'' he said.

Odinga is preparing to face off with Jubilee Party's President Kenyatta in a battle that will also bring on board 6 other candidates including ARC's Abduba Dida and Ekuru Aukot of Thirdway Alliance.
