Opposition leader has revisited the death of businessman Jacob Juma (JJ), saying his death was 'planned' by government.

According to Raila Odinga, the government planned and executed the death of JJ, who was a strong critic of President Uhuru Kenyatta's Jubilee government.

Citing the brutal killing of Mumias Sugar Company Legal Manager and secretary Ronald Joseph Lubya, who was shot dead early this month, Odinga said he was killed by government, just like what it was done to JJ.

He said during the burial of Lubya, none of the company's director, county commissioner or a Jubilee government representative was present.

"The last time we were here, we were bereaved because of the death of JJ. The other day we were this sides, to bury Mumias Sugar secretary. He was killed and his wife and children raped. During his burial none of the company's director, county commissioner or a Jubilee government representative came. So this man was killed by the Jubilee government. This people are murderers," Raila said, Friday.

Speaking during the Nasa campaign at Posta Grounds in Bungoma county, Raila added: "When we said that they know the killers of Jacob Juma, they said we were spreading rumours and propaganda. But Juma wrote on social media, saying a meeting was held here, he named the persons who were in the meeting, but they said it was rumours."

"Since last year up to now, they are still investigating. There are no results of the investigations because those who killed him are the ones doing investigations," Odinga indicated, as he addressed mammoth of supporters.

The family of the slain businessman had called on the government, to allow the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and Scotland Yard to take over investigations into his murder.

Raila slammed the government, saying electorates in Bungoma should come out in large numbers, August 8, to vote out president Kenyatta, so that Nasa takes over, to end such killings.
