National Super Alliance (NASA) chief Raila Odinga on Thursday accused the Western diplomats based in Nairobi of colluding with the government to conspire overturning the will of the Kenyan people.
Raila claimed that instead of them assisting to resolve standoffs caused by what he regarded as ''lack of free and fair elections'',they decided to be part of the problem and found comfort in it.
He said that the envoys have purely succeeded in causing trouble in Kenya instead of providing solutions to way out.
''The envoys have not succeeded in diffusing the crisis.Let me be blunt again.They sometimes have contributed to the problem that you hear back in Kenya.I have come here to convey a simple and direct message.We need a much exhausted engagement from the many arms of governance that your country possesses to assist the envoys in Nairobi,''Raila told his audience.
Raila further went on to call upon the US to help champion democracy in Kenya which according to him exist in books.
''We know very well that democracy here has intensified unlike Kenya.We request for your assistance to have our democracy intensify as well,''he added.
Raila severely accused Jubilee administration of trying to hurtle dictatorship in Kenya by hanging onto power and planning to extend its reign with DP Ruto taking over the mantle.
