ODM party leader Raila Odinga says he is the best candidate who can send the Jubilee government home in the 2017 elections.
He thus appealed to Kenyans to register as voters and vote for him in the August polls to send Jubilee administration home.
“Kenyans should support me in 2017 to deliver them from bondage,” Raila said as quoted by the Daily Nation.
The Cord co-principal reiterated his call to defeat Jubilee, accusing it of condoning corruption.
The former prime minister made the remarks on Saturday at the Got Ramogi Hills in Siaya County where he was crowned Luo warrior.
Siaya Governor Cornel Rasanga appealed to residents to remain united in ensuring Raila "relieves them from the bondage of the Jubilee administration."
He said the ceremony was significant even as they pray to God to answers their prayers and ensure Raila clinches the presidency next year.
"We hope that God will answer our prayers,” Rasanga said.
