ODM leader Raila Odinga has reassured his supporters that there will be no rigging in the 2017 presidential election. Speaking in Kisii during the #kikao045 at Gusii Stadium, Raila said in the last elections in 2013, the total presidential votes were 12 million compared to those of other contestants at 10 million, claiming the figures showed there was rigging hence the reason to push for the resignation of the IEBC commissioners."We assure you that we won't come back to you to inform you that we have been rigged out. We have put measures in place to ensure everything will be done transparently and with fairness," said Raila. The former prime minister further assured the supporters that party nominations will be fair and transparent and that there won't be any partiality in the issuance of certificates. "All aspirants should ask to be nominated by electorates, we have no preferred candidate as a party from National to counties and that's why you are seeing us principles wooing you to select your best," said Raila.
