The tactician is expected to jet into the county today ( Wednesday). Sources have revealed that Mr. Lone is set to head the former prime minister’s communication and strategic advisory team as he seeks to rise to the nation’s top seat for the fourth time. Raila, who is the Cord leader, is turning to Lone for the second time as he battle for the Presidency. The tactician once worked with Odinga’s team as an ODM director of communications. He was also among the top political advisers of Mr. Odinga in 2007. Lone became a close friend of the opposition leader after playing an immense role in the elections that saw him appointed as the prime minister following the disputed general elections. The political expert has expressed his gratitude for rejoining the NASA team as Odinga looks forward to sending home President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto home after the August general elections.“This is a very crucial election for our country because if Jubilee Party is re-elected it will spell trouble for our country,” he said.
