NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga on Wednesday at Orange House held a meeting with 22 former officials of the defunct TNA party from Nakuru County.
Coordinated by politician Koigi Wa Wamwere, the delegation told the former Prime Minister that they felt betrayed by their leaders who abandoned their original ideals of TNA and went for looting of the country instead.
Odinga welcomed the delegation and allayed fears that he is the enemy of the Gikuyu community. He told the group that Kenya has changed fundamentally since the early nineties.
"That change," he said, "was brought about by a coalition of Kenyans who eschewed ethnic bigotry and chose Kenya."
Saying the signs of rain are clouds, the NASA Leader told the delegation that they should wait for other Kenyans to leave them behind as the country liberates itself from bad leadership.
