National Super Alliance presidential candidate Raila Odinga has received a major boost from president Uhuru Kenyatta’s perceived stronghold ahead of the August 8 polls.

This is after a delegation from Kiambu county among them 10 Members of County Assembly joined Raila’s team.

The Opposition leader received the Jubilee defectors at the ODM offices, Nairobi, on Monday.

Speaking during the meeting, Raila expressed optimism that the Nasa team will form the next government in the upcoming elections.

He warned Jubilee that things have changed and therefore Uhuruto will be sent home by the electorates on August 8.

"We are putting our opponents on notice that the time for change has come. There is no way Jubilee can win in the upcoming elections," said Raila.

Nasa team led by Raila is expected to tour Kiambu county, Tuesday, in a bid to woo voters to vote for them.
