ODM party leader Raila Odinga arrived in Meru for the second Nasa rally, after a successful one in Uasin Gishu.

According to ODM director of communications, Philip Etale, the Opposition leader arrived in Meru, amid warm reception, Monday.

He first arrived in Timau Township where he addressed a roadside rally before travelling to Makutano, then Meru Town. 

The Nasa principal's rally in the region which president Uhuru Kenyatta enjoys massive support, aim to popularise the recently unveiled Opposition political outfit, Nasa.

''My team will then visit Kiutune and wind up our first day at Laare where they will address a final rally,'' Raila said.

Tuesday, Raila will tour Tharaka Nithi county.
