ODM leader and Cord co-principal Raila Odinga has remained silent on why he skipped his counterpart Moses Wetang'ula's presidential launch.
The Ford Kenya leader and Bungoma senator launched his presidential bid on Saturday at Muliro Gardens, Kakamega.
On Sunday, Wetang'ula was quoted by the Nation saying that Raila had not told him why he skipped the event that had been planned for weeks. The senator said he had not communicated with Raila concerning the event.
He added that he is waiting for Raila to come back from Tanzania so that he could explain why he missed the rally.
In a meeting held in Nairobi on March 29, the three Cord principals; Raila, Kalonzo and Wetang'ula agreed that the launch would go ahead and Cord's top leadership would attend as a sign of solidarity.
Raila missing at the event fuelled speculations of fallout, disorganisation and feud within the coalition.
