Cord leader Raila Odinga has responded to claims that he incited the Maasai community to evict IEBC commissioners by force.

Odinga has refuted the claims stating that he did not call on the community to storm IEBC offices armed with weapons.

“We will ensure that procurement is done afresh when new commissioners are in office, no one should mess the electoral process.  The current staff should also be keen so that they are not manipulated by the outgoing team,” said Raila.

Raila who was speaking in Uasin Gishu county on Saturday said that it upon the government to ensure a team was in place by 2017.

The opposition chief further accused some leaders of using the divide and rule tactic to divide the country.

He was accompanied by Simba Arati, Junet Muhammed,  Gladys Wanga,  Agostino Neto and other regional party officials.
