Opposition leader Raila Odinga has dismissed claims by lawyer Miguna Miguna that Nasa CEO Norman Magaya and strategist David Ndii are working with the Jubilee Party.
The Nasa leader on Monday asked his supporters to ignore Miguna's allegations.
The self-declared National Resistance Movement general on Sunday accused the duo of working with the Jubilee Party.
In a note shared on Facebook, Miguna, who was deported to Canada by the government, claimed that Magaya took Sh30 million to withdraw the petition against Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko in retaliation of his failed nomination to the East African Legislative Assembly (EALA).
The outspoken lawyer further claims that Magaya had vowed to revenge against Nasa leader Raila Odinga after he was 'denied' the EALA nomination.
"Norman Magaya is actively working for Jubilee. He took Kshs. 30m to withdraw the petition against Sonko in retaliation for his failed nomination to EALA. He had vowed to “revenge against Raila” after that. H.E. Raila Odinga himself told me about it," he wrote.
Miguna further claimed that Nasa strategist David Ndii was opposed to the swearing in of Odinga as the people's president.The former Nairobi gubernatorial candidate alleged that Ndii was planning to sabotage NRM activities.
"Ndii opposed the swearing in and threatened to lead a walkout from NASA of Kalonzo et al. Ndii shouted at me and made the threatens in person. Now that their schemes have flopped, they have conspired to sabotage the NRMKe. We shall not permit it! The truth will set you free!" wrote Miguna.
Ndii and Magaya had also dismissed the allegations by Miguna.
