National Super Alliance (Nasa) leader Raila Odinga has jetted back into the country after a four-day break in Tanzania's Zanzibar.
Raila returned Wednesday evening as confirmed by his spokesman Dennis Onyango and ODM Communications Director Philip Etale.
Although it is not clear what he was doing in Zanzibar, photos posted on social media show that the NASA leader was on holiday.
His Zanzibar visit came just days after he arrived in the country Friday last week after a 10-day visit to the US.
His silent return on Wednesday is believed to have been occasioned by the public return that turned chaotic last Friday.
At least five people were confirmed dead, with the opposition saying the number was bigger than that.
