ODM leader Raila Odinga has explained how the opposition plans to protect the presidential votes during the August polls.

Raila was speaking on Friday after being endorsed as the ODM flagbearer.

According to the NASA presidential candidate, the opposition will have 450,000 agents across the country.

Through the initiative dubbed 'adopt a polling station', 10 agents will be posted in every polling station.

“You are soon going to get information on how to adopt a polling station,” he told members of the Bunge La Mwananchi caucus.

He said the agents will be in constant communication with a central command team at the secretariat.

The agents will also be tasked with sending immediate results from polling stations to the NASA presidential tallying center.

In 2013, there were claims that NASA failed to deploy agents in Jubilee strongholds, something that gave room for manipulation of votes.
