NASA leader Raila Odinga is looking forward to his arrival in the country tomorrow, Friday.

Speaking from the USA, where he has been for the past week, Odinga further thanked Kenyans who welcomed him during his tour of the states.

“I have been in the US in the last 10 days, I have had the opportunity to meet with leaders, professionals and businessmen and briefed them on the situation back home. The challenges we are facing following the bungled presidential elections,” Raila Odinga said on a short video posted on his official twitter handle.

“There's a lot of interest in Kenya out here, we have lots of friends, I’m happy with what I have seen here, and I look forward to returning home tomorrow to meet my fellow Kenyans. Asanteni,” Raila Odinga said on a short video posted on his official twitter handle.

His statement comes at a time when there is a standoff between NASA leaders and the National Police Service.

The leaders have urged their supporters to head to the Jomo Kenyatta International Aiprot to welcome Odinga, with Inspector of Police Joseph Boinnet insisting no crowds will be allowed at the Airport.

“Those without valid reasons to enter the facility will be hence denied entry. Therefore, those making plans for that day are advised accordingly,” read part of the statement from the police.
