National Super Alliance (NASA) Presidential candidate Raila Amolo Odinga has now claimed that President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto ‘stole 2 million votes’ to ensure that they retain power through an unconstitutional means.

According to Tuko.co.ke, Raila said that the Jubilee leaders did not win the August General elections.

He also said that the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC ) Chairman Wafula Chebukati has no mandate to declare Uhuru re-elected. He claimed that the election was marred by all sorts of illegalities and irregularities that saw him to Uhuru. The opposition leader, who has since declared that he will not take part in the October election, said that he has evidence on his claims.

"Jubilee does not want competition. They stole 2 million votes in the August 8 election and if you ask Chebukati, he cannot hold a Bible and claim that Uhuru won. He knows this. They know this because they stole over 2 million votes. I found out about this from some officials in the IEBC, he said, as quoted by the local daily.

In the meantime, the opposition has maintained that it will not take part in the election unless the commission heeds to its demands.
