National Super Alliance (NASA) Presidential candidate leader Raila Odinga now claims that the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) started relaying Presidential results on August 7 even before the election date.
Speaking during an interview with a local daily, Raila said that the Chebukati-led commission committed one of the most serious offenses in the history of this nation.
“If you look at the records, and they are from the logs given to us by the IEBC itself following the court order, you find they started posting results on the servers on August 7. Kenyans had the election on August 8, but started voting on August 7,” Raila said as quoted by Star.
The opposition leader has been pushing for the resignation of IEBC CEO Ezra Chiloba, who he has accused of manipulating the election results in favor of Jubilee.
Meanwhile, the former prime minister and president Uhuru Kenyatta have both hit campaign trails in the hunt for votes ahead of the October 17 Presidential elections. The two are confident of victory despite raising several issues including the disbandment of IEBC and Judiciary.
