Deputy President William Ruto and Opposition leader Raila Odinga met for the first time in public on Tuesday since the famous handshake between President Uhuru Kenyatta and the latter.
Ruto and Raila bumped into each other at the family home of Kenneth Matiba where they had gone to condole the family.
The two are seen as fierce political rivals and the handshake has seen the DP's camp rattled.
Ruto recently talked tough and told off those who are pushing for a referendum to create the position of a powerful Prime Minister.
Raila's allies, however, hit back accusing Ruto of being an 'obstacle' to reconciliation.
