Self-declared NRM general Miguna Miguna has now declared that former prime minister Raila Odinga sacrificed his supporters in the post and preelection killings.
Through Twitter account, Miguna boldly said Odinga sacrificed his supporters, maimed and deprived them of their rights to vote during the October 26 repeat elections on the grounds that the elections were uncalled for being that no changes had been done to the electoral body IEBC.
He added that due to this, he shouldn't have the guts to be happy but instead mourn his slain supporters and fight for their justice. He went ahead to condemn Odinga for having this in mind but still 'dining' with president Uhuru Kenyatta, his deputy William Ruto and other government leaders who he usually refers to as despots.
"Raila Odinga sacrificed 500 innocent lives needlessly, had thousands maimed and disenfranchised millions of voters on October 26, 2017. He has nothing to laugh about. He should be mourning the dead or fighting for justice; not dining with despots. Go on. Stone me," read part of Miguna Miguna's tweet on Saturday.
The embattled lawyer is against the handshake Odinga had with president Kenyatta and former presidents Daniel Moi and Mwai Kibaki and this to him was a high form of betrayal being that he was among the leaders who facilitated the swearing in of Raila Odinga as the people's president on January 30.
