[Photo: Raila Odinga/Facebook]The National Super Alliance (Nasa) principal Raila Odinga has made it clear that he will not fill the controversial Form 24A after he withdrew from the October 26 fresh presidential election.Raila alongside Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka announced their withdrawal citing lack of political good will from both IEBC and Jubilee party.Although the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission confirmed receiving Raila and Kalonzo's withdrawal letter, they insisted they should submit the statutory Form 24A to make their quit official as required in the electoral regulations.“We note that the Rt. Honorable Raila Odinga and his running mate sent a letter dated 10 October 2017 indicating that they had decided to withdraw from the fresh Presidential election. They, however, have not submitted the statutory Form 24A,” IEBC said in a statement, Wednesday. However, speaking during an exclusive interview with Citizen TV from London, Raila maintained he formally withdrew from the contest through a letter."I'm not going to fill the form. I withdrew from the race through a letter formally," said Odinga.Nasa CEO Norman Magaya also noted the signing of Form 24A does not apply in the context of the election at hand.
