NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga has said the opposition will not allow Jubilee to rig the August general election.
Raila, a former prime minister, said that the opposition has put in place measures to ensure that no rigging takes place.
He noted that NASA has plans to appoint a team of five people to man their station in order to seal any loopholes for rigging.
“This time round, they will not steal. They successfully did that in the previous elections, but it will not be business as usual. A five-team committee in every polling station will do for us at the election — from voting to counting of the votes,” Raila said, as quoted by The Star.
The opposition leader also said they will ferry patients from hospitals so that they can take part in the polls just like any other Kenyans regardless of their conditions.
“We’ll follow up patients in hospitals and take them to vote then return them to the wards. Our main target is that no vote should remain in your pocket on the material day,” Raila said.
