According to ODM Secretary General Agnes Zani, Odinga will lead other guests in opening the facility situated at Kibra constituency.

Kibra MP Ken Okoth said that the project was jointly built through charity funding from friends of the Raila Odinga Centre and Kibra Constituency Development Fund kitty.

“It is a flagship CDF project that celebrates our commitment to the principle of empowerment through education; one of the key pillars of social democracy,” Mr Okoth told Nairobi News on Tuesday.

He added: “The launch of the facility will benefit generations of Kibra children who shall school here.”

Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero and cord co-principals Kalonzo Musyoka and Moses Wetangula are among high-profile leaders expected to attend the launching of the project.

“We hope this project will enhance the success of our children for a better country,” Okoth said.
