Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has joined a list of politicians allied to Jubilee government calling for arrest and prosecution of Cord leader Raila Odinga over incitement remarks he is allegedly said to have made while in Narok two weeks ago.
Kuria says that Raila’s statement in Narok borders on incitement and that he should be questioned.
Speaking at PCEA Githurai 44 in Ruiru on Sunday, Kuria said that Raila must explain his statement adding that such utterances are a threat to the country security.
“Raila should be interrogated on the statement he made while in Narok two weeks ago because it borders on incitement,” he said.
The MP said that the war on incitement should be fought without bias.
Raila is accused of allegedly making inflammatory remarks two weeks ago during an Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party rally in Narok.
Raila was quoted allegedly asking the Maasai community to prepare their arrows and spears and storm the IEBC offices to kick out the commissioners.
Several politicians have called for Raila’s probing over the alleged incitement.
The ODM leader has however defended himself against the claims saying that his statement was misinterpreted.
