Speaking in Bungoma during his tour of the Chesikaki Water Project, Wamalwa said it is unimaginable for the opposition leader to criticise the projects yet he was among those who initiated them.

The cabinet secretary accused Mr Odinga of making disparaging remarks concerning the projects that the Jubilee government has been implementing since it took over power in 2013.

Wamalwa said most of the projects were not only designed but also approved by the office of the Prime Minister in relation to vision 2030.

“It is unfortunate that the former Prime Minister is suffering from selective amnesia, and is now fighting projects that he himself paid for the design,” Wamalwa said.

Wamalwa pointed out the Sh100 million project that was initiated under the leadership of the former premier.

Raila and other leaders from different parts of the nation have been accusing the Jubilee government of initiating projects that will not benefit the nation while using them to embezzle public funds.
