Mandera Governor Ali Roba has asked NASA presidential flag bearer Raila Odinga to surrender the repeat presidential race.
The governor says that the former Prime Minister (PM) has no numbers to win the repeat presidential poll and should stop wasting his resources and time.
The Mandera governor claims that Jubilee Party controls 70 per cent of all regions in the country in terms of numbers and that President Uhuru Kenyatta’s re-election is a done deal.
“I pity Raila Odinga because he clearly does not have the numbers to win repeat election,” he said as quoted by the Daily Nation.
Roba said that the defection of former Bomet governor Isaac Ruto from NASA is a clear indication that Raila does not have the numbers.
The Jubilee governor said that Jubilee’s are intact, adding that they will marshal supporters to come out in masses on October 17 to seal Uhuru’s win.
Governor Roba said that Uhuru’s government has done what other government failed to do in over 50 years.
President Kenyatta is expected to face off with Odinga in repeat presidential election on October 17.
Uhuru’s re-election was nullified by the Supreme Court early this month grounds that the presidential election was marred with electoral irregularities.
