The opposition leader on Tuesday termed the move to form JP as a plot to return the country into a single party state as witnessed in the 80s.

Nyaribari Chache lawmaker Richard Tongi in an interview with this writer said Odinga was a cry baby and warned him against interfering with strategies of the Jubilee.

“I wonder why Raila is always critical of everything. He has never appreciated efforts of his opponents and always sees a wrong in everything we do. He should mind his own business and leave Jubilee alone. He should concentrate on how to compete with us rather than complain eve time. Those are signs of sensing defeat and as Jubilee, we are ready to send him to retire,” said Tongi.

He said the Jubilee merger was timely and challenged other smaller parties to join the team as a sign of pushing for unity in the country.

“Jubilee Party is out to unite Kenyans and Mr. Odinga should join us if he is fighting for peace. We cannot allow him to create imaginary scandals. No one is making this national a one party state. We are strengthening Jubilee ahead of 2017 polls,” he said.
